This week begins the 4th week of the Design My Adirondack chair! Wow– only one more week to go–why does time fly by so fast? Anyway, when little Miss Narnia came into our lives about 5 years ago, I decided to design a mini adirondack just for her. You know sorta like a mini throne for the puppy princess!
Little did I know that just a few years later–I’d be promoting my own Design Your Adirondack blog hop along with my Kathy Peterson Inspired Outdoor Lifestyles furniture collection and my favorite little model would be nesting in her own chair!
Check out the details! I used little Woodsie craft pieces to create various flower shapes, sewed a comfy and cut cushion and added a lot of color of course!

It seems like yesterday, I was driving up to Kentucky with my old college friend Linda to be featured as the guest shoppers on HGTV’s The Worlds Longest Yard Sale on Hwy 127. But that was a few years ago and I’m missing not being able to hit all the fabulous flea markets this year that covet dear old Hwy 127!
Linda and I traveled 200 miles into Tennessee with HGTV’s TV crew and we had just the best time! Here’s a shot of our last stop just before taping the big reveal of my wonderful antique finds!
And here I am on some side road waiting for the camera crew to mount a TV camera on the hood of my car—boy the locals sure did give us funny looks!
Here we are just before saying farewell to the crew. Boy did we have fun and come home with some awesome treasures.
This trip was a fast, furious and fun adventure and I would recommend this trail to all my antique loving friends. Happy flea marketing!

She was shy, abandoned and in need of a fancy makeover! So I decided to make this sweet flea market find into a bountiful beauty! Well let’s just say–beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
BEFORE 
It was just a few years ago when I was selected to be the “featured” shopper on HGTV’s Longest Yard Sale. We traveled from KY to TN in 2 days and my goal was to find the perfect bridal chair for my step’s son’s new wife to be. I was hosting a bridal shower and wanted her to have the best seat in the house!
AFTER 
Ain’t she cute? Now all she needs is a pair of dancing shoes and a sparkly necklace!

Pat usually paints with fabrics making beautiful quilts for her books, etc—but this time she “painted” a quilt pattern much like a quilt block on a barn for her adirondack!
