When I started designing the patterns for my new Designer Stencil Collection, I wanted to really make a statement both for room decor and room accessories.   Here are a few more sample boards I did with the test cuts and I’m beyond happy, excited and thrilled with the results.  We’re working on packaging and some room images so check back soon!  Now I’ve got to get back to stenciling so I can show you a few more varitations!

Here a quick and easy way to customize a tote bag just in time for Mothers Day.   I used both the large and small  lattice designs from  my new stencil collection to create a fun look.  You can purchase canvas bags like these at your local craft store as well as 2 bottles of craft paint.   For a little more embellishment, I painted little stitch marks on the larger scale stencil design.

My husband dragged this little chair from the trash and it’s always a fun thing when you can rescue something that otherwise might end up in our landfills.

Aww isn’t she cute!  All painted up!  And for the finishing touch, I used one of my new stencil designs that will be released later this month.  I’m beyond excited!

I’m very excited about my new Kathy Peterson Inspired Designer Stencil Collection which will soon be released.  In all the excitement,  I wanted to give you a sneak peak of two of the designs!  These are my sample and practice boards to test the first cuts and they are just so yummy!  

These sample boards will also be used for a couple of upcoming TV segments where I’ll be inspiring you to stencil along with me!

It’s a girl just born a few hours ago!   Our 5th grandchild!   This little announcement gave me instant gratification!  Anyone can go out and purchase a gift for a newborn however I opted to personalize my gift with a custom birth announcement that Emily can hang on her bedroom wall!

I used the fabulous Deutica  Mandolyn font styles to create the message and created the boarder from some of my original artwork!  I think my Daughter-in-Law will be pleased!

So now that most of us are noticing that spring has sprung—I decided to make this fun little sign to let my  friends know that “I’m in the Garden”.

To make this—I created the floral art with my original artwork in Photoshop then typed in the words using Duetica’s fabulous font system.  This particular font is called “floot”.  Isn’t it a fun font!

Need a quick idea to spice up your table this Easter?  No matter if you’re serving breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, this idea will spread a happy message to your guests.

I’m serving breakfast this Easter and thought it would be fun to “doll up” my egg holders with some Duetica Fonts.  So I got on my computer and overlayed  two layers of fonts (see below) to give it a little more depth.  Once you print it out and cut it to size,  secure it to the egg holder.  This same idea could be used for napkin rings, coasters and more.
