I’m very excited to announce the first ever Craft Super Show dedicated to all crafters and consumers on July 31-August 1 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. There will be contests/events, prize give-aways, world record attempts including the world’s largest scrapbooking crop with celebrity appearances of scrapbook stars and much more. Oooh-la-la!  I love a painted floor! Especially when it’s yellow. I found this delight at  Paisley Wallpaper and flipped when I found out the designer made her own stencil out of foam board.  I love DIY decor—and just might barrow this idea to finish off my own painted porch floor to kick it up a notch—but probably not until summer passes as the Florida heat and humidity is mighty vicious this time of year.  Want to see how to do this technique— Click here for the how to’s!  Enjoy!

We had a fabulous 4th of July.  The grandkids helped make “flag place cards”, place the flags outside , and make a patriotic  centerpiece.  This was such fun and very easy to teach the kids to be creative.  The place cards were simply made from cardstock and markers…

the centerpiece included a bunch of flowers, mini flags  and flower foam, and the flags, well you just stick ‘em in the ground.  What a fun but tiring day!
