A New Washer & Dryer–What a Great Excuse for a Laundry Room Makeover!

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I can’t to show you all my Laundry Room before/after Makeover—HOWEVER—- you’ll have to wait till next month.  The focal point of the room of course is the Washer and Dryer from Frigidaire and the wall colors and accessories I’ve selected will frame them nicely and make for an inviting room! Now imagine making your laundry room inviting–sounds goofy but proof will be in the pudding when I reveal the makeover next month.

I love the fact that I can store all my extra towels and laundry detergent underneath both the Dryer and Washer.  This extra storage space is so wonderful, easy to get to and I  also LOVE the fact that my hubby is digging doing the laundry.  We almost have to draw straws on who gets to do the laundry because it really is fun!  Kudo’s to Frigidaire for taking the PAIN out of laundry!

MotherLoad Arrives—My Husband Love Doing the Laundry Now!

Monday, September 28th, 2009

Boy am I a lucky woman!  Since the arrival of my Frigidaire Washer & Dryer—my husband has been hugging and loving these new machines!  Yes!  He now loves doing the laundry.

What I really love about the dryer is that it let’s me dry more at once and has DrySense technnology—that means it dries clothes more precisely, reducing wrinkles.  Love That!

And it get’s better!  The Wash equals dry time—so we don’t have to wait for clothes to dry.  And the spin cycle really spins the water out of the clothes!

October—I’ll be revealing a link to the “laundry room” makeover .  More later!

I’m just back from the studio of The Balancing Act LifeTime TV 7 a.m ET/PT M-F taping a really fun and festive Halloween segment.  Check out these terrific DIY (Do It Yourself) costume projects.  A great place to shop for fabric and more is  Hancock Fabrics and they have a great selection of “spooky” fabrics that you can make into costumes or—-I really like making my own table covers to customize the look. Doing it yourself is so much more affordable and more fun than ready made.

The segment will air in October and I’ll provide a link later—and our little fashion ghoul’s were so adorable.  Kristi Villa is my co-host and she was a blast to finally work with on the set.  She’s the one with the witch hat—and she looks so cute!
