On location in Ft. Lauderdale for the DESIGNING SPACES TV SHOW with my producer Carl!  This was the most fun day of TV.  We laughed and the day just flew by.  In the background:  the adorable show host Rhonda with Howard the  TV camera guy looking at pictures they just took.  I think Dino is hiding in the shawdows.

Working hard–going over last minute script notes on the next set-up.  And boy it was cold in Ft. Lauderdale that day!

Roll-tape!  Here we are in action talking about the fabulous Ansell Cut Protection gloves.  These gloves are just awsome and fit so nice too!  Gee I hope I didn’t split my pants in this shot!  (just kidding but the mic did pick up my creaky bones!)

This is week # 4 of the Flip-Pal TM mobile scanner SCAN YOUR HEART OUT blog hop!  I’ve had so much fun checking out all the other 5 designers projects and I hope you have too! 

This little card project was super easy thanks to my Flip-Pal!  All I did was make 2 scans  of my original art from my sketch book (which otherwise was too big to scan on my desk top scanner).  I used the “easy stitch” software that comes on the Flip-Pal  SD memory card, printed out 2 copies of the image, and cut it out to make this cute little card.   Wow!  You cannot even see where the image was digitally stitched together! 

 Taa-dah!  I now can share my art in a whole new way!

WOW! 

We’re already into week # 3 of Flip-Pal mobile scanner Scan Your HeArt Out blog hop!  So this week, I decided upgrade my picnic salt & pepper shakers by scanning a handcrafted piece of gingham my mom made me years ago.

This project was super fast and easy just the way I like ‘em!  All I did was scan the wall art gingham piece (and I didn’t have to take it down fromthe wall!).  Then I printed out the scan, cut it to size, and adhered it to the salt and pepper shakers.  To finish it off I used grosgrain ribbon and printed out the words Salt & Pepper on regular paper cut to size.  It was just that easy!

Here’s the before and what a difference it makes to customize your own salt & pepper shaker for a wonderful picnic style lunch!

And here’s the wall art my mom made just for me!  Little did she ever think I’d scan it and use it as table decor!

Hey everyone–we’re on week #2 of the fun and fabulous Scan Your HeART Out blog hop!  This week I stumbled across some vintage paper documents that I found buried in some old  papers.  So I couldn’t help but grab my Flip-Pal mobile scanner and create this simple yet elegant paper wreath! 

This project is so easy and fast— all I did was scan, cut, scrolled and glue the print outs!  I then layered some circles of black paper and more of the scanned paper then layered it with a black felt flower and some vintage jewerly.  I hope you enjoy!

Here’s the original paper I scanned!  But now  I’m able to share it with you as a lovely wreath worthy of any door or package!

Yippee~ Today blast’s off the 1st week of 5 blog posts for the Scan Your HeART Out Blog Hop!

I’m a sucker for all things vintage!  So for this weeks design using the  Flip-Pal TM Mobile Scanner, I decided to Scan my HeArt Out using a vintage piece of lace from a pair of old bloomers!  And boy do I LOVE the results of this vintage style party favor!

All I did was scan the lace with my Flip-Pal TM , enlarged it to fit on a 8.5 x 11 paper (so you could see more detail) then printed it out from my computer.  I made 2 copies, cut each in half, then folded and glued accordion style! 

To top is all off I cut out a flower shape and added a vintage rhinestone pin.  Wow!  I think I’m in love.  What  a lovely party favor this would make for a bridal shower! 

Here’s the vintage lace! It’s so pretty and is Scan-delish!
