Well it’s time to put away all the Christmas decor in our home. Here’s an old window frame I found at a flea market so I dolled it up with a little Christmas cheer. The window replaced a framed water color picture over my fireplace to tie in with my Christmas theme and colors. It really was a fun way to change out my home decor even if it was for just a few weeks.

All the poinsettias really brightened up several rooms in our home this year and I’m kind of sad that they.re done for the season. I love the color red but only use it for Christmas and other special themed occasions.
Here’s to a fabulous 2012 to you and yours!

Here’s a fun idea I came up with! “Nest” your plate in some raffia for a festive holiday table setting. This could easliy be changed out for any season or occasion! Enjoy the holidays!

Lucky score for decor— about 5 years ago I purchased these XL snowflakes for a $1.00 (each) but wasn’t sure how I’d use them. This year tells the story!

These hang over my porch table where our family will be celebrating Christmas. I know the kids (big and little alike) will really enjoy them especially at night when the lights hit them and make them sparkle.
So when you decorate—remember you’re creating a memory that will go on forever and ever.

Get the scrapbook papers out and crafts some cones! And that’s just what I did for our family Christmas gathering.

I like fast and easy projects when I’m getting ready for the holidays. All you need is:
- 10 x 1o inch squares of scrapbook papers
- glue dots
- odds and ends of greenery
- white card stock (for the labels)
- Duetica Mandolyn fonts
- Kettle or Pop corn (or other yummy delight)
- Sizzix die cutter and Die # 656537
Shape the paper into a cone and glue to secure. Print out you labels then cut them out using the Sizzix die cut. Adhere some greenery to the label then adhere the label to the cone! Tah-Dah! You’re done!
Happy holidays everyone and stay inspired!

For this months Duetica Font challenge, I decided to make a welcome sign for all my family and guests coming over to celebrate Christmas with us! A freshly spray painted frame put the final touch to this merry message.

For a closer look, you can see I used several font styles for this project. For more ideas—be sure to visit their site so you can find more inspiration!
